Moto capture your attention by their funky grooves and cool sophistication. They move effortlessly between acid grooves, deep funk electro pop and cool jazz, creating beautiful melodies and exciting moments.

Moto have been working in the Wedding and Corporate circles for the last 5 years. Before this time, they were enojoying weekly residencies at some of Melbourne's smoothest venues such as The Arts Centre's Curve Bar and the Kingston Arts Centre's Schmooze bar. They began working as a pure 5-piece funk band, recapturing the sounds of many great artists such as George Benson, Herbie Hancock, The Meters and Directions In Groove, but since then, Moto has evolved into differing shapes. They are not only flexible with their line up, catering to virtually any event, they bring some of Melbourne's top musicians to every gig, creating unique grooves and melodies with unique musicians.

Moto regularly work as a small 3-piece instrumental outfit, comprising of Keyboard, Guitar and E.Drums, which perfectly suits many corporate events as well as cocktail bars and clubs. For these events, Moto set a quiet mood early with some smooth jazz and gradually move to some funkier styles to get people dancing if it suits the occassion. In addition to the smaller outfit, Moto are regularly asked to expand up to their full 9-piece Funk train, showcasing some of Melbourne's finest musicians and outstanding vocalists who cover James Brown numbers right through to Stevie Wonder and Jamiroquai hits. The impressive sound of the 9-piece band creates the perfect statement for any wedding or corporate event, however, if this is a little beyond your budget, the band can be reduced to a 5 or 6-piece as heard in the recordings below.

Moto adapt beautifully to large stages as well. In late 2010, they were invited to support The Versus and Shannon Noll as a 4-piece with sax, receiving tremendous applause from the 2000 + crowd. Whichever line-up Moto have, people bring their best moves as Moto deliver their best grooves.
